Purpose: Provide construction services to include volunteer labor supervision and management; contractor management, project management, materials coordination from order to delivery; project estimation and cost tracking; and code and permit compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Preparing and Training:

  • Train local contractors in the unique aspects of disaster rebuild leadership
  • Pre-approve contractors for key aspects of clean-up and rebuild
  • Remain up-to-date on liability documentation and best practices

Emergency Response:

  • Approve contractors for all aspects of clean-up and rebuild
