Wish List/Major Needs

• Quick read thermometers and ear thermometer covers for mental health and child care providers are needed. Donations of these thermometers can be dropped off at the HACAP Corporate, 1515 Hawkeye Dr, Hiawatha, between the hours of 8:30AM-4:30PM Monday-Friday. Individuals dropping off will need to ring doorbell as lobbies are closed for general walk-in traffic.

• Local nonprofit food/nutrition providers are requesting 2,000 disposable grocery sacks to bundle meals for delivery. Please call Heritage Area Agency on Aging at 319-398-5559 to set up a time to help them out.

• The Eastern Iowa Diaper Bank is in serious need of diapers. In addition to the 17,000 diapers given to families in our community each month, the Eastern Iowa Diaper Bank (EIDB) has had an influx of requests since the COVID-19 quarantine implementation. With these extra requests for families in need, the EIDB bank is running low on their supply. You can give virtually through their Amazon wish list.
